1 CTA Templates for Businesses

Businesses using Veloqo must display carrier-compliant opt-in language wherever their phone number is promoted — on their website, Google Business listing, signage, or any other customer-facing surface. Copy and customise the templates below, replacing [number] with your Veloqo phone number.

Method 1 — SMS Opt-In CTA

Use this language anywhere you display your Twilio/Veloqo number and invite customers to text you:

SMS Opt-In CTA — Copy & paste onto your website or listing
Text us at [number] for instant AI-powered assistance. By texting, you consent to receive automated responses from this business. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for support. Message frequency varies. Terms: https://getveloqo.com/terms-and-conditions.html Privacy: https://getveloqo.com/privacy-policy.html

Replace [number] with your Veloqo phone number before publishing.

Method 2 — Missed Call Text-Back CTA

Use this language anywhere you display your Twilio/Veloqo number when the missed call text-back feature is enabled:

Missed Call Text-Back CTA — Copy & paste onto your website or listing
Call us at [number]. If we miss your call, you will automatically receive a one-time SMS response. By calling, you consent to receive this automated message. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Terms: https://getveloqo.com/terms-and-conditions.html Privacy: https://getveloqo.com/privacy-policy.html

Replace [number] with your Veloqo phone number before publishing. Only required if missed call text-back is enabled in your Veloqo dashboard.

Required: This language must be visible to customers before they text or call your number. Displaying it on your website contact page, Google Business profile, or beside your phone number on any marketing material satisfies this requirement.

2 How Customers Opt In

Veloqo powers AI assistants for small businesses. Customers interact with these businesses via SMS through two distinct opt-in pathways. In both cases, consent is explicit and customer-initiated before any automated messages are sent.

Method 1

Inbound SMS Opt-In

+1 (416) 555-0192
Hi, do you have availability tomorrow?
Hi! Thanks for reaching out. How can I help you today? Reply STOP to opt out.
I'd like to book a plumbing service
Great! I can help with that. What's your address?
Customer texts first → consent given

When a customer texts a Veloqo-powered business number, the following CTA is displayed on the business website or listing before the customer texts:

"Text us at [number] for instant AI-powered assistance. By texting, you consent to receive automated responses from this business. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for support. Message frequency varies."

By texting the number, the customer explicitly consents to receive automated AI-powered responses.

1
Customer sees business phone number with CTA language on website, Google listing, or signage
2
Customer texts the number first with their inquiry
3
By initiating contact, the customer consents to receive automated AI responses to their inquiry
Method 2

Missed Call Text-Back

+1 (416) 555-0192
📞 Missed call from you
Hi! Sorry we missed your call. How can we help? Reply STOP to opt out.
I need a quote for roof repair
Happy to help! Could you describe the damage and your address?
Customer replies → consent given

When a business uses Veloqo's missed call text-back feature, the following notice is displayed on their website before a customer calls:

"Call us at [number]. If we miss your call, you will automatically receive a one-time SMS response. By calling, you consent to receive this automated message. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Customers are informed before calling that a missed call will trigger an automated SMS.

1
Customer sees the missed call CTA notice on the business website
2
Customer calls the business phone number; call goes unanswered
3
Customer receives one automated text: "Hi! Sorry we missed your call. How can we help? Reply STOP to opt out."
4
Customer replies to continue — this reply constitutes consent to further automated messages

Important: In both opt-in methods, the customer takes the first action (texting or replying). Veloqo never initiates an unsolicited first contact. Every initial outbound text-back message includes a clear STOP opt-out instruction.

3 Opt-Out Instructions

Customers may opt out of SMS messages at any time using the following standard commands:

Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop all further messages from that business number.

Reply HELP to receive support contact information.

  • Opt-out requests are processed immediately — no further messages will be sent after a STOP reply
  • A single confirmation message is sent acknowledging the opt-out
  • The opt-out applies to that specific business number
  • Customers can re-subscribe at any time by texting the number again

4 Message Frequency

Message frequency depends entirely on the customer's own inquiry and engagement:

  • Messages are only sent in direct response to a customer's questions or actions
  • Typical conversation length is 1–10 messages per inquiry
  • No unsolicited marketing or promotional messages are ever sent
  • Automated messages stop as soon as the inquiry is resolved or the customer stops replying

Message frequency varies. You will only receive messages in response to your own inquiries. We do not send promotional blasts or recurring messages.

5 Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to messages sent and received. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.

Veloqo does not charge customers for SMS messages. Any charges are between the customer and their mobile carrier. Veloqo is not responsible for carrier fees.

6 Sample Messages

The following are representative examples of automated messages customers may receive from Veloqo-powered business numbers:

1
"Hi! Thanks for reaching out. How can I help you today?" Sent in response to an inbound customer text.
2
"Sorry we missed your call! How can we help? Reply STOP to opt out." Sent once after a missed call — customer must reply to continue.
3
"We are currently closed but I've captured your request. Someone will contact you at 9am tomorrow. Reply STOP to opt out." Sent when a customer contacts the business outside of business hours.
4
"Your appointment request has been received. We will confirm shortly. Reply STOP to opt out." Sent after a customer submits an appointment booking request.
5
"Great, I've got all your information. Our team will be in touch shortly. Reply STOP to opt out." Sent after lead capture is complete.
